Rotary excavator Gerbisdorf

The paddle wheel of a former brown coal digger is 17 meters high. The former miners did not make this part of an excavator had been only for a short period of time, completely scrapped. At least, the now highly visible paddlewheel and a part of the crawler track was saved from the dismantling of the bucket wheel excavator. The location is in the middle in the country. The technical monument is located in Gerbisdorf, north of Leipzig, Germany. You have to go pretty far on lonely country roads to get there added. The impeller is however widely visible, so there is no problem.
